Gen 2 LED face mask
*630nm (red) and 850nm (near-infrared) are each supported by published randomized controlled trials (Wunsch & Matuschka, Photomedicine and Laser Surgery, 2014; Lee et al., Lasers in Surgery and Medicine, 2007). 415nm (blue) light is supported by a randomized trial on inflammatory acne (Papageorgiou, Katsambas & Chu, British Journal of Dermatology, 2000). 1072nm (deep near-infrared) is included for deeper penetration; independent research on this specific wavelength is still emerging. These studies tested light in these wavelength ranges, not the Veluma mask itself, and individual results may vary. See "How it works" below for details on each wavelength.

How it works
630nm — red light
Supports collagen renewal and skin texture 136-person randomized trial found visible wrinkle improvement in the majority of participants after 30 sessions (Wunsch & Matuschka, 2014)
850nm — near-infrared
Supports deeper skin renewal randomized, split-face trial found up to 36% wrinkle reduction and 19% more elasticity after 4 weeks (Lee et al., 2007)
415nm — blue light
Studied for visibly clearer skin randomized trial found blue-red light reduced inflammatory acne lesions by 76% on average over 12 weeks (Papageorgiou, Katsambas & Chu, 2000)
1072nm — deep infrared
Added for deeper penetration into skin tissue independent research on this specific wavelength is still emerging
These studies tested light in these wavelength ranges, not the Veluma mask itself, and individual results may vary.

Frequently asked by our customers
How does the Veluma mask work?
It uses four LED wavelengths - blue, red, near-infrared, and deep NIR+ - that target skin at different depths. Blue, red, and near-infrared light are backed by published clinical research; deep NIR+ is newer, with early results showing promise for mature skin.
Is it FDA-cleared and safe to use at home?
Yes. The mask is FDA-cleared, CE certified, and RoHS compliant, and designed for regular at-home use.
How often should I use it?
For best results, use it consistently — around 10-15 minutes a day fits easily into most routines.
How long until I see results?
Results vary by person and depend on consistency of use. Many customers notice changes within a few weeks of regular sessions — individual results may vary.
Can I use it with my regular skincare products?
Yes. LED therapy works well alongside your existing routine — apply the mask either before or after your usual products.
Does it hurt, or cause any side effects?
No — sessions are painless. Mild, temporary redness right after use is normal and typically fades quickly.
What if the mask isn't right for me?
Every mask comes with a 14-day trial and a 1-year warranty, so you can try it at home with peace of mind.
Who shouldn't use the mask?
As with most LED devices, it's generally not recommended during pregnancy, for those with photosensitivity or certain eye conditions, or while taking photosensitizing medication.
